The COVID-19 pandemic has made our face-to-face meeting model unfiseable, as the authorities have imposed travel restrictions and physical estrangement that are increasingly strict and for an indeterminate time.

In this time of uncertainty, we seek to turn the crisis into an opportunity. This is why the organizing committee of the XI CAB2C has decided that the best option is to move to a virtual version of the congress. We prioritize participants' health without losing the possibility of making visible the work that we all carry out in the different areas of knowledge that concern us. The official language of the meeting is English

FAQs

Who can send an abstract?

This event is open to the entire community, anyone can send an abstract for the poster session and be selected for oral presentation.

How will be the selection for oral presentation?

All abstracts will be reviewed by 2 specialists in the field. According to their recommendations, the Scientific Committee will determine if the abstract is presented as oral or poster.

Which will be the virtual poster session format?

All poster videos will be included in a YouTube playlist and the link will be sent to registered participants before the start of the congress. During the poster session, presenters will be asked to join a Zoom breakout room exclusive for their presentation, identified by the poster submission ID, where they will be able to discuss their work with other participants.

How is the format poster?

There is no fixed template to follow for poster presentations. You must prepare an oral presentation of your poster; we do not require a poster in the conventional format. The oral presentation must have a maximum duration of 4 minutes and must include up to 4 slides showing the main results. The video file of this presentation must be in .mp4 format and must not exceed 50 MB. The file should be named as follows: submissionID_AuthorSurname.mp4. The committee recommends this presentation be made in English.

How much does it cost to attend the meeting?

Attendance to the main conference is free, although the satellite workshops are paid. Please note that registration to the meeting is closed.

Which platform will host the event?

The XI CAB2C will be hosted on Zoom. You will receive a link to a private Zoom room where you will be able to follow the talks, ask questions and engage with other participants. The meeting will also be publicly streamed on our YouTube channel

Are there any rules for participation?

Besides registration and attendance, participation in this event requires acceptance of the following Code of Conduct (in Spanish).
